Wooly Wonders Knitting Guild
Saturday, June 14th is National Knit in Public Day. Join Wooly wonders Knitting Guild and Kindred Spirits Yarn Studio to knit in public. We will be on the front lawn of the Franklin Public Library from 11 - 4:30. Bring a chair and a pack lunch. If there is rain or excessive heat, we will move inside the library.
“Knitting For The Cause” presentation slated for May 31.
The Wooly Wonders Knitting Guild of NWPA will host a presentation given by Linda Bolla, an education volunteer at the Erie Maritime Museum. Linda’s program “Knitting for the Cause” will focus on historic women who knitted to support the soldiers of past wars, up to and including the present. Learn what our troops currently need and take home a free pattern so you too can “knit for the cause”.
The public is invited to the presentation which will be at Kindred Spirits Yarn Studio, 507 13th St., Franklin, on Saturday, May 31st at 10:00 am.
